Jason Woodforth QLDJason Woodforth was born in 1970. He is a former LNP politician who was the State Member for Nudgee from 2012 to 2015.

Educated at Craigslea and Brisbane State High School. He ran a sports nutrition and supplements business, Bodizone from 2004 to 2012, and was managing director of supplement importing company “International Brands Direct”.

He serves as the Australian Vice President and Queensland President of the International Natural Bodybuilding Association and has won a ‘promoter’s contest’ in bodybuilding held by the INBA.

Mr Woodforth is an advocate of healthy lifestyle choices, and minimizing exposure to toxins. He believes that far more should be done to combat major ecological issues such as the threat micro plastics pose to global marine life, and the prevalence of toxins throughout the food chain and wider environment. He has received criticism for his position on water fluoridation, which he states is adding ‘toxic waste’ to the water supply, it is not calcium fluoride, it is a toxic waste product, that is a fact he says. With over 90% of Europe and Scandinavia now rejecting water fluoridation, and an emerging body of research suggesting it may be linked to cognitive disorders, he feels this issue needs fresh and independent investigation.

Mr Woodforth was attracted to Health Australia Party due to its five policy pillars, which he believes exactly articulate the right approach to fixing Australia’s varied problems.

“I want to help create change – real change”, he states.
Health Australia Party is a true centrist party based upon five policy pillars: Healthy People, Healthy Economy, Healthy Environment, Healthy Democracy and Healthy Society. Many HAP party members are people who have never been in a political party before, and are all motivated by the urgent need to instigate change to the current, failing system.”

“I don’t need to do this. I am not interested in being a politician for its own sake. But Health Australia Party impressed me. It is becoming a magnet for intelligent, passionate people who can no longer stand idly by. It is a voice of common sense, compassion and reason. And it is needed urgently. I look forward to what lies ahead – change is coming.”

As National Spokesman Mr Wood forth is determined to help create a new political paradigm based upon a centrist, common sense, and thoughtful approach to the issues confronting Australia.
